On the helmet skull there are marks of J.R.56 04 for Infanterie Regiment Vogel von Falkenstein (7. Westfälisches) Nr.56 garrisoned in Wesel and Kleve. Date 1904 (04) and the manufacturer’s stamp are visible but difficult to read.


The rear visor is stamped LIR 55 IIB for II Bataillon Landwehr Infanterie Regiment Nr.55 (located in Wesel and Kleve as well).
