A close-up view of the manufacturer’s stamp on the inside of the skull: Mitteldeutche Gerberei & Reimenfabrik – Neu Isenburg and date 1917. On the internal side of the lining there is a wearer’s name “dzetlewski 4/256”.
On the rear visor there are stamps: R.B.A.18 (Reserve Bekleidungsamt of XVIII Armee Korps) and B.J.A.XVIII f (Bekleidungs Instandsetzung B.J.A.). These indicate helmet repairs.
