In 1909 a new type of scarf called Halsbinde (Neck Stock) was introduced.
The Halsbinde had round bib on the front and two strips to tie. Each soldier was equipped with two Halsbindes.
Identical owner label as on the Halstuch is visible on the Halsbinde Eini.-Freiwilliger Lorenz 10.Kompagnie. On the internal side there are marks inicating repairs – probably made by the owner.
